Track Events

The Lincoln Trail Region may host several autocross events each year. We also go to driving events hosted by nearby regions. See our calendar for event dates. Check back on this page for more details as the events get closer.

Note: Autocross venue needed! If anyone knows of a place in our region where we can potentially hold an autocross event please contact our events chair or president. The only location we know of is Rantoul. We held a couple events at the Cat Tech Center in Mossville but we can't hold any more there.

Lincoln Trail Region PCA Autocross Requirements

  1. All drivers must have:
    a) Snell approved helmets are required! Must be M or SA rating, which have the current available Snell
    rating or the one previous Snell rating. See Snell website for more info.
    b) Valid drivers license
    c) Clothing made of non-flammable material (like cotton)
    d) Shoes must be closed (i.e. no sandals) and have low or no heels and be flexible.
  2. All cars must not have any:
    a) Fluid leaks
    b) Missing lug nuts or broken studs
    c) Loose items inside the car
  3. All cars must have:
    a) Battery properly secured
    b) Brake fluid full
    c) Seat belts
  4. No SUV's, trucks, vans, or any other vehicle with a high center of gravity
