Secretary’s Report: The minutes from the July 25^th meeting were reviewed and approved unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report: The current bank balance is $4481.46.

Nomination for Membership Chairperson: Dana Sawyer was nominated, elected by the board and accepted the post of membership chairperson.

Nomination of Nominating Committee: Mikel Matthews was suggested as the chairperson for the nominating committee. Steve Davis will ask Mike if he is interested. Darren Sawyer also volunteered to serve on this committee.

Potpourri Mailer: It was determined that a small postcard could be sent out quarterly, or more often as the need rises, that would list upcoming events. These mailers could also be sent to new members as a greeting and to persons who did not renew to see if we can determine why.

The Furrow Winery car show will be September 29^th. They ask the cars be there between 11:00 and 11:30 am.

Fall Derby road trip. Butch and Karen have volunteered to organize anyone from LTR who would like to attend the Kentucky Fall Derby event in Kentucky October 5^th-7^th.

Discussion was also had regarding Porsche Palooza in Arkansas in November. More details to follow.

The Christmas party will be held either the first or second weekend in Decatur at the Decatur Club. Karen will be hosting the party again this year.
