Lincoln Trail Region Meeting Minutes
October 3rd, 2007

Members Present: Steve Davis, Mikel Matthews, Jim Roal, Lynn and Patsy Weber, Darren and Dana Sawyer, Butch and Karen Raiha
Secretary’s Report: The minutes from the August 29th meeting were presented and approved unanimously.
New Business:
Steve Davis proposed a change in the format for next year’s Furrow Winery Oktoberfest car show. He proposed that each participant would receive three votes for different cars since it was impossible to determine a second and third place car using the current system.Election Committee Report: There have been 4 volunteers for the three board member at large positions. They are Karen Raiha, Dana Sawyer, Jim Roal, and Patsy Weber. The committee will keep nominations open until the next meeting.
Survival School: Mike Matthews is working with the Tire Rack’s Street Survival school with the intent of LTR hosting a school in the spring at either Rantoul or Decatur. Mike will try to secure the Rantoul site and Butch will try to secure a Decatur site. Patsy volunteered to assist Mike with making arrangements.
Christmas Party: This year’s Christmas party will be held December 1st at the Decatur Club in Decatur.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15pm. The next meeting will be November 14, 2007.
