Members Present: Steve Davis, Lynn Webber, Jim Roal, Mike Matthews, Jim Anderson, Ken Stonecipher, Dave Weaver, Steve Jacobs, Andy Berberich

Secretaries Report: November 16th, report presented and accepted

Presidents Report: Steve Davis, Introduced Ken Stoneciper the new newsletter editor. Ken is employed by Cat and has always had an interest in writing. He has been in contact with the editors of several other regions for ideas. He wants the Potpourri to be a very professional, interesting publication. Ken stated that a high quality newsletter should attrack more advertisers. A 20 page b&w newsletter will cost about $2.00. Full color would be about 4 times more. Ken will check on pricing. If the Potpourri was printed in a periotical format it would save on mailing rates. There currently are 8 advertisers, Ken will contact them with the proposed changes to the adss.Ken wants each issue to have an editorial page, and a safety article. Ken has been using a trial Acrobate Publishing program. He requested that LTR purchase the program for $800. Steve Jacobs moved to purchase the program, Jim Roal seconded, the motion passed. Ken requested help with the final assembly and mailing of the Potpourri. The 2nd Friday of each month will be the cutoff date for publication.

Membership: None

Treasurers Report: $3,436 as of December 15th

Competition: Lynn Webber will look for 3 to 4 dates to have Auto-x at the Bloomington airport.

Events:

March 25th, rescheduled Body Skins program in Peoria April, SAE-LTR car control clinic. Andy Berberich is working on a car control clinic aimed at young and inexperienced drivers. It will be a community service project and open to the public. Steve proposed a Michelin Tire program and bringing in a vehicle specific Tech expert from PCA.

New Business: Steve requested that the board work on finalizing event dates for the rest of the year and to have them ready at the next meeting.

Next Meeting : The next LTR board meeting will be Wed, Feb 22nd in Bloomington. The Webber's will make the arrangements.
