Members Present: Steve Davis, Lynn & Patsy Webber, Wayne & Patty White, Mike & Shelly Matthews, Butch & Karen Raiha, Jim Roal

Secretaries Report;: June report presented, Mike Matthews moved to accept, Steve Jacobs 2nd, passed

Membership: Patty White, 172 members. Steve Davis and Butch Raiha both are working to get new members in the Peoria & Decatur areas. Butch stated he keeps applications in his car and it was mentioned it would be a good idea for the board members to have LTR business cards. Mike Matthews brought up about name tags for new and existing members. It was agreeded to check the new members quarterly and offer them name tags. Butch moved and Mike 2nd to also give the 2007 officers new name tags with name and office. Motion passed.

Treasurers Report: Butch Raiha, $4,440.17, Mike Matthews moved to accept, Patsy Webber 2nd, passed

Nominating Committee: Steve Jacobs said a request for officers is on the website, Steve will begin contacting people later

Competition: Lynn Webber, has tried contacting 2 people at CIRA and neither will respond. He will keep working on the airport. Steve Davis, SAE Auto-x Sept 23rd at CAT in Peoria. The event should be a money maker for LTR. Steve has some questions about the wording of the agreement Cat wants LTR to sign and has contacted the national office to review the documents.

Potpourri: is still coming at different times to different areas. Sud's phone # is wrong.

Events: A Boxster tech session has been approved, it's hard to pin the presenter down to a date, probably October

New Business: Steve Davis was contacted by the German American Society about having German cars at an event in September. It was decided not to participate because the cars would be too vulnerable. Mike Mathews said thatthe Se c of State will be having a car show in Springfield. Karen has arranged for the Christmas party to be December 2nd at the Decatur Club. A motion was made to subsidize the dinner with $5.00 for each person from the treasury and to budget $500.00 to gifts and decorations. Patsy moved to accept and Steve Jacobs 2nd, motion passed.

Next Meeting: Sept 13th, Guzardo's in Lincoln, 6:30pm. Call for adjournment at 8pm by Steve Davis, 2nd Patsy Webber, motion passed.
