Recurring Monthly Events
We have a large region (geographically) so we have several get togethers in various places around the region. This is a great chance for us to meet in a casual atmosphere. Here are the regular monthly get togethers we have right now:
- Breakfast at Panera's on North Knoxville, Peoria, at 8:30am the last Saturday of the month.
- Dinner at Lucca Grill 116 E Market St, Bloomington, at 7:30pm the 3rd Monday of the month.
- Dinner at Mario's Pizzeria 2841 Mansion Rd, Springfield, Il at 6:30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month
- The CMI group meets the second Saturday
of the month at 9am for a Car Talk session at Panera

Member Appreciation Picnic
Join us October 11, from 1:00 PM to 6:00PM at Davis Lodge- Lake Bloomington, Illinois for the Lincoln Trail's Membership Appreciation Day. Food and Drink will be provided.
The lodge was originally dedicated in 1932 and center point of the lodge was two huge fireplaces at each end constructed of 50 tons of stone work. The lodge has since been redone and the 2 fire places were kept in tack. The new log facility has multiple decks with a scenic view of Lake Bloomington.
Take a drive and we can view each others pride and joys, tell stories,
and enjoy the company. We might be able to coax my wife into telling
the infamous story of the 914
that was driven into the lake just down the road from the Lodge.
Menu for the day: BBQ Beef Brisket, and Grilled Pork Chops, Veggie
Burger, Potato Casserole, Bake Beans, Slaw, Chips & Dip, and for
dessert assorted Cheese Cake. Pop
and water will also be on tap.
Our Zone Representative Ken Hold and his wife will be in attendance.
So take a drive on a nice fall day and we will see you at the lodge.

Take 39 N/US51North Exit 164 toward Rockford
You will go 8.5 miles.
Take the IL251 exit, Exit 8 Kappa/Lake Bloomington Road.
Turn Right off exit and go 3.5 Miles on 2500 North Road.
Turn Left onto N1750 East (at stop sign)
Go .1 of a mile turn right on Davis Lodge Road.
