Cars and Coffee, Porsche Car Show

Saturday, April 25th 9:00AM until Noon

Kauth & Mayeur 1710 W Detweiller Drive, Peoria, IL 61615

The Lincoln Trail Region and Kauth & Mayeur are excited to host an April Cars & Coffee event. Attendees will enjoy coffee and doughnuts while exploring the shop during an open house. Unique vehicles will be displayed throughout the facility for everyone to view. Additionally, the Lincoln Trail PCA cars will be judged in the parking lot.

Judging categories include Oldest Car, Highest Mileage, Most Original, Highly Modified, and Most Passionate Owner.

Coffee and donuts will be provided by Kauth & Mayeur.

Porsche and Pastries - Panther Creek Nature Preserve

Saturday, May 23, 2026 9:30AM until Noon

Meeting Location: Main parking lot at New Salem State Historical Site (15540 History Lane, Petersburg, IL 62675

Lunch: Hand of Fate Brew Pub, Petersburg, IL

We've just completed our final route reconnaissance and are thrilled to announce three distinct driving routes through the Jim Edgar/Panther Creek Wildlife Area. Each route offers:
Distance: Approximately 25 miles
Duration: About 35 minutes of pure driving enjoyment
Format: Individual route cards (not follow-the-leader style)
Scenery: Stunning wildlife area views and engaging country roads

Updated Timeline
9:30-10:00 AM: Arrive at New Salem State Historical Site main parking lot
10:00 AM: Coffee, pastries, and general instructions
10:15 AM: Transition drive to route starting point (Newmansville Ave & County Road
10:30 AM: Reset odometers and begin your chosen route
11:30 AM: Complete routes and transition back to Petersburg
Noon: Lunch at Hand of Fate Brew Pub

What to Bring
Your Porsche and a full tank of gas
Sunglasses and a camera for scenic photo opportunities
Your appetite for excellent driving and dining
Extra vigilance for wildlife
